Happy Saturday!

Good morning everyone!  Anyone doing anything exciting today?  I think my fun day will consist of cleaning my house.  That will easily take all day.  I think I'm going to do a garage sale next weekend, so everything that doesn't have a place is getting kicked out.  We have way too much stuff.
I think I'm also going to go shopping.  What does one wear to a bacehlorette party in Nashville?

Re: Happy Saturday!

  • We really need to clean and organize because FI's sister is coming to visit this week.  We are living in a temporary place so we haven't unpacked and it's kind of a disaster.  I also need to do some work.  Frown

  • We were going to go to a summer palace up along the coast, but it's been pouring all day, and H is seriously jet lagged, so i see some relaxin' happening here!
  • It was supposed to be raining out all day today I thought...  it's nice and sunny right now.
Dont worry, quotequeen, we've lived in our house for 5 years and it's still a disaster. You'd think there were 8 kids living here.  It drives me crazy.

  • Good morning!

It is a rainy Saturday here. H will probably be called in to work often today...grr, I hate it. I am going to get some cleaning and hopefully go to the grocery store. I also will  probably curl up on the couch and read. Need to relax before I have a classroom full of 4 yr olds next week.
  • Missy - did you go to Ohio State?

I work retail, so I'm working today. It's one of my employees' last day so I'm a little bummed. She's awesome and I'm going to miss her.

If I were home though, I'd be working on our honeymoon plans. We booked our Disney trip yesterday, but FI likes things to be structured (reservations made for restaurants) so I have to figure out which parks are open longer on which days. That way I know which day/time to reserve for dinner or lunch. Last time we went, I went a little crazy and made a spiral-bound itinerary/notebook for the whole thing. I have a little machine that cuts the holes and closes the spiral so I can make a notebook out of everything.

  • I need to clean; I really do.  However, all is not lost.  I'll do a little bit now and then head over to the French Market to meet up with friends.

Kelly - did you get the torrential rain last night too?  I got soaked from the clinic to the car.
  • Yes we did - luckily I was inside.  Our grill did blow around on our balcony quite a bit though, The sky was crazy - blue to black to blue to pink.
Off to Woodfield to go shopping.  Pretty stupid thing to do on a Saturday, but oh well.

    Yes, I did. I graduated in 2005.

H and I miss going to the games bc his Grandma works there and would always give us tickets to a few of the home games.
  • I'm lounging now but later we're starting a wedding weekend.

DH's coworker is getting married tomorrow.  His parents invited all guests to a dinner tonight and before the dinner, all guests were invited on a 90 minute steamboat cruise.  I'm pretty excited for it!

Now I just have to make sure to hit the bathroom before the boat leaves.
