TR, I"m sorry you feel bad But i'll tell you I had a convo with H once abotu how I was insecure with him going to strip clubs for his friends' b-parties and I was afraid he would think they're more attractive than me and he said he's not attracted to them like he is me. Like I'm the girl he wants to take home and marry and he wouldn't want to have anything to do with those other girls. So I'm sure Mr. TR probably feels the same way! I think it's natural to be turned on by porn, but I would think that most of our husbands realize fantasy versus reality and are perfectly happy with being with us because we're their ideal girl.

I agree with this. The only time I think porn becomes an issue is if a man (or woman) would rather look at it than have sex with his/her SO. That is not the case here at all.

Hey everyone. We have been busy getting ready for our party we're hosting tomorrow. I am officially done cleaning and being productive for the night.

TR - The same thing happened to me awhile back. I told FI how it made me feel but that I also understood it's within the realm of normal behavior. I told him I would rather not know for sure that he is looking at stuff. I also asked him to do a better job of not letting me find it by accident. Sometimes it bothers me more than others depending on my own insecurities at the moment.

I can offer some input here. There are two kinds of guys: Guys who look at porn on the Internet Guys who remember to clear their browsing history (That is to say that all guys look at porn.) Most guys have a disconnect between the people in porn and real people. Also, porn generally has a half life of about 3-5 minutes, if you know what I mean. Once it's over, it's pretty much forgotten.)

The first time one of my boyfriends told me he was really into porn I got really upset.  I went through a lot of the things you're feelign now (and we weren't sleeping together).  I think it's pretty natural to feel that way.  A few years later I dated a guy who had a serious porn addiction and I stopped caring as much.  H doesn't look at porn ever since I "caught" him looking at a porn site and he almost died of embarrassment.  I really didn't care, but he was so mortified.

(P.S. You're a good friend.  We're actually doing pretty well after the events of the other day.  H agreed that he thinks he need solo counseling for what our marriage counselor thinks is mild depression, and he's going to make an appointment when we go next week.  All positives.)

TR, you really don't have to worry about what you look like in comparison to porn stars. You're gorgeous. Porn stars usually aren't all that. It's normal for dudes to look at porn. Not trying to minimize your reaction, but you really have nothing to worry about.
