This year we're going as Don and Betty Draper.  DH is excited to walk around all night drinking whisky and claiming it's necessary for the costume.

Same thing as last year, I think:  A devil with a blue dress on. 

My son is going to be Wii remote.  I somehow got talked into doing a "team" costume for my daughter and her stepsister.  They rejected most of my ideas but now want to go as an angel and a devil.  I am working on their costumes this weekend.

I'm not coming up with anything terribly creative this year, so I'll probably go as Marilyn Monroe. It's my stand-by costume if I don't feel like thinking up something else.

My stand-by costume is Courtney Love, so I think yours is better.

Actually, mine worked out pretty well because one of my friends did a "trainwreck" themed party last year.

We aren't dressing up this year but I can show you what we were the last two years.

This was 2008, we were bowlers because we had a Wii bowling tournament for our Halloween party. My shirt was a "Lucky Speed Shop" bowling shirt and my H's was "Chico's Bail Bonds".  He added the fake chest hair and gold chain.




This was 2007,

I was some kind of rock n roll witch or something...I don't know, I bought it at the costume store.  My bff was pregnant so she was a "bun in the oven"!

Haha...that's actually a pretty great theme. I might have to steal that sometime. Of course, this year, I'm sure I'd have 500 Lindsay Lohans show up.

Atleast you get to be the fairy godmother.  My CW told us her daughter loves to play princess, but she always makes her be the evil stepmother.

ETA:  Still trying to talk BF into going as He-Man and She-ra.  Almost there.  Almost.

My FI will be "Cousin Eddie", Nat'l Lampoons Xmas Vacation style- robe, floppy hat and boots. He'll be hilarious.

I can't think of anything funny...so who knows. I cached my good ideas the last two years being Peg Bundy one year and Octomom last year. My creative well has run out!

We were talking about going as Peter and Lois Griffin from Family Guy.... we watch the show alot and were going to throw out lines all night... plus they wear fairly normal clothes so i think we had what we needed with the exception of a wig for me......

But now were going to be at a wedding that weekend,  so probably not....

Baby Bee is going as a Bee so I think Mr B is going as a bee keeper.  Not sure about me yet.  Maybe a flower or bee also.  We're going to a party w/o Julia so the flower and bee keeper wouldn't work as well together as a bee and bee keeper.
