Favor credit?

Is it inappropriate to give credit to your vendor on the favor tag?
We wouldn't list our cake/flower vendor, but naturally, it seems that people understand that these are from outside sources.
We are giving our guests our favorite salsa mix as our reception favor. (See website.)

I was going to include instructions on how to make the salsa on a favor tag to hang from the container. I want to give her credit for her recipe, but should I include the website on the tag? My maiden name starts with a G, so using "Mama G's Salsa Mix" as a header might be confusing.

Thanks!

Re: Favor credit?

  • I think that it would be good to include the website on the tag.  You don't have to put the name, if you think it would be confusing, but giving credit to the website where you found the recipe is a good idea.

  • I think the website would be good as well! That way if people want, they can look up the recipe or even others..

  • I think using the website is a good idea.  That way if people want they can make more on their own later.
