Longtime lurker! First time poster!
So I find out today via Facebook that my 20 year old cousin has proposed to his girlfriend! They’ve set a date for this summer and would like my address for the invitation.
I would like to ensure that an invitation to my serious live-in boyfriend is included (etiquettes 101), however the only way that my cousin would know of his existence is facebook, as I live across the country and we are not terribly close.
Would it be out of line to respond to the address request with Me last & BF last @ such and such address? This could be serious over-analyzing, I just also know it’s a breach of etiquette to correct someone on THEIR breach of etiquette (“So… you aren’t planning on splitting up social units, are you??”). I also don’t entirely trust my 20 year old male cousin to be invested in the rules of etiquette. Is this alright or is my only option to see what happens and either accept or decline?
Thanks everyone!
