We still have 9 months to go, but we're looking into booking our HM. Here is my dilemma...
FI's best friend is in the wedding. We asked him a few months ago (yes I know too early for what some people like) and he agreed. He is actually getting married 2 weeks after us. FI is NOT expecting to be asked to be a GM, but he would be honored if asked. I know this is right about the time people start asking.
Anyway we were planning on leaving on Mon after our wedding and staying away for 10-11 days, returning Fri, the day before FIs friends wedding. Since he hasnt been asked, is it okay to just book our HM and possibly miss the rehearsal dinner?
We don't want to compromise our HM due to a POSSIBILITY, but I also want FI to be there for his friend if he needs to be. Suggestions - cut it a day short or hope for the best? (we have to leave mon not sun bc of OOT guests, brunch, etc). TIA!
