I have been wearing contacts for the last 2 months after swearing off of them for 3 years and they are NEVER comfortable. I hate them. I am too scared for surgery though.

AK- while you are experiencing resignation drama, someone in my office is getting fired. I'm laying low trying to avoid the drama. Something tells me it's not going to go well.

So yeah - if anyone is interested in a part-time (20 hour a week) job in Grand Rapids, MI.... we need an Instructor for our Learning Center, someone with medical billing & coding experience and ideally a former instructor from another institute (i.e. Ross Medical). PM me your resume! LOL!

B, did you have Lasik?  I'd love to get it done, I just haven't had the time to do the research.

I think the problem is that my eyes are all dry and scratchy, not necessarily the contact.  Shoulda gone with glasses today.  Boo.

It's my Thursday so nothing to really complain about. Can't wait until I get off today. FH and I have a lunch date. Haven't had one of those in awhile.

Vally - we left on the 3rd, but the weather was pretty suckish the last 3 days we were there.  It was still great though.  Yummy seafood and great beaches.  Can't beat that. 

Manda - I have the same feeling about Germany, but I'd totally love to see Spain pull it out today.

FI's boss had lasik but his eyes weren't ideal for the surgery so he had to go back to wearing his glasses a year or so later.

Good morning! I just got an e-mail from my GBF saying he got robbed last night; they took both of his TV's, but that seems to be it. We're spending the night there this weekend, and we'll be staying in the room where the robbers got into the house. Awesome!! He lives in a semi-shady neighborhood, and thinks that a group of kids that have been hanging out around the street did it. Apparently he screwed all his windows shut last night, so nobody will be able to get in again. But still, creepy!!

Morning all!  It's all cold and dreary here today- about 60 right now   And I have a doctors appointment for my stupid foot in an hour and a half.  I wish I could have just slept in, then went to the appt, but I'm short on sick time.  Stupid work.

Good morning!  No work today, but I think it's going to be really hot again.  Between that and not being able to move because of my first bootcamp class yesterday, I will probably be spending too much time on The Knot.

FI's parents both had Lasik and they looooove it.  I don't know if they paid extra or if they just went to a really nice place, but they were both able to go back for "touch-ups" 6 months or so after the initial surgery to get things really perfect.  They need reading glasses, still, since the surgery only does distance vision, but they love not having to deal with contacts.

Manda - I have the same feeling about Germany, but I'd totally love to see Spain pull it out today.  

My dirty little mind read that and I giggled, but mostly because some of the Spanish players are hot.

GB that's HORRIBLE! I'd be freaked out.

BSA- it aches really bad, like constantly.  And new bruises keep popping up, which is weird.  I think the swelling has gone down a little today, though.

I know, I feel a little bad that everyone is boiling out East today!  I don't mind the temperature, I just hate the gray skies.

I am jealous as well.  Desert hot here in Boston.  Even hot swimming this morning.

We're pretty lucky here, weather-wise.  Last week was hot as balls, but this week it's low 80s and drizzly.  No complaints here!

manda, I know. My H said he's taking his gun to spend the night. Which, no he won't, but he can say that all week. MY GBF is plenty stocked in that dept.
