Re: HELP!!

  • Wow, you're very lucky to get these deals!

For the Coordinator, how about a check for $100?  Or a gift certificate to a restaurant or spa?

For the Photographer, I would just give him a very generous tip.

For the Venue you're getting at cost, I would give a bit more (as I assume this is significant savings).  Either a check for at least 10-20% of what the usual fee is to book the venue or a gift certificate.
  • Do you know these people pretty well? Get them each something that encompasses their interests. If one of them is a wine-lover, give them a bottle of wine and a GC to a winery. If you think they need de-stressing, give them a spa GC. If you don't know them that well, give them a GC to a nice restaurant.

I can't be more specific because I don't know the people or their interests.

  • Well the person who owns the venue is my FI dads cousin... so his second cousin. I just met her yesterday!... The coordinator sadly I havent met.   We live 3 hours away from where we are getting married at.  I thought about the wine thing for both of the ladies so my FMIL is going to find out if they like wine. I thought about getting the photographer something cute.. His wife is having a baby in April.

  • If these are more friends that just hired people, I would go with giftcards instead of cash.  Especially if they aren't charging.
