We just spoke to our possible band leader and he mentioned about wanting to come an hour to two hours early to set up and get some food in. Im having a dinner reception starting with cocktail hour at 6pm. They are doing their set from 6-8. How do I work out the timing of feeding them? Is it normal that the venue (I'm having it at the restaurant) has the food for the band ready before cocktail hour? If anyone can share their experiences, it would be greatly appreciated!!
