Any hangovers in the house?

Re: Any hangovers in the house?

  • I love Fresians! I have a Quarter Horse that's retired due to arthritis. 2 Thoroughbreds, 1 is a pony horse for the local track. And I have a Mustang. He's my main man right now.
  • I wish I didn't have to deal with it because the only people asking are the people who aren't invited.
  • The NYE before we got married, two of my sister's drunk friends asked if we they were invited, and we had someone ask via FB two weeks before the wedding if they were.  But that was it.

  • Sesh-That's so cute.

I haven't had many people ask if they were invited to the wedding.FI posted a status on our one year anniversary of engagement. And someone wrote "If you're having a wedding with invites, make sure you include the Smith family." WTF.

Then there's FMILs co-worker that she was really good friends with. There was apparently some kind of falling out and I was told to take her off the list. So I did. About a month ago FMIL texted me and said "Is Jane getting a wedding invitation?" I was just stunned. All I could do was email back and say "Oh, I thought you weren't friends anymore and that you had told me to take her off."
FMIL keeps asking me if I'm going to give her an invitation. I haven't decided.

  • Cooking question:

I am making a meatloaf today and the recipe is for a 2 pound meatloaf. I'm cutting the recipe in half. How long should I cook a one pound meatloaf?

I can't remember what I did last time. Thanks!

  • No hangover here.  i only had half my bottle of wine.  I lazed around in bed reading until almost noon then made myself an egg scramble (my omelette didn't work so well).  In a little bit I'm taking the dog for a walk before it starts snowing.  We're slated for 5-8 between today and tomorrow.
  • No hangover here.  I don't drink ;)
  • Petal - google says anywhere from 35 minutes to an hour... ~160 degree internal temp.
  • Thanks Loopy. I looked it up online and everything had different times and degrees. I was just wondering if anyone had personal experience.

I get nervous when I'm cooking and changing it up a little. I need cooking confidence.

  • I'm heating up some frozen tamales for lunch and then I think we're going to head out to FIs grandparents.

  • I usually do 50-60 min at 350 for meatloaf.  Yum.  Sounds good.
  • Surprisingly I'm not hungover. I drank a ton of Champagne, Cava and Prosecco last night, so I should be. Going out last night reminded me why H and I have boycotted NYE the past couple years....it's just not that fun. Way overrated.
  • No hangover. But a surprisingly large amount of random bruises all over my body?? Apparently I did a lot of elaborate pong ball blocking :/
