Random thread.

I do not get how the weather channel can say there is only a 10% chance of showers.  Yet it's pouring out.  The rader is pretty green and another weather site has 100% chance of showers today.

I also do not get why our 'local' weatherperson is freelanced out of WI.   Really WI?  What do they know about VI weather?

I also do not get why I get sucked in Discovery ID programs like Deadly Woman, Wicked Attraction and  Dying to Give Birth.   I guess this will be my rain day activity.

btw - all these errors just wants me to punch someone.

  • I don't get why my stupid laptop has to overheat allthedangtime.

I also don't get how white chocolate chunk chocolate chip cookies can be so delicious.

I'm pretty cheerfult this morning... not too many gripes.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
  • I agree Lynda - I would like to Knot right now but the errors are driving me crazy so I'm going to find something else to do!

  • The errors are suuuuuuper annoying, and I've been really good about not complaining until this point.

There's a thread going on the mod board, but some clueless girl started a NEW thread just to let everyone know.  Someone replied "see 2 posts down" and it make me chuckle.

Lynda - WI is just like VI with another V attached, so it's gotta be close, right?  ;)

I really need to spend today researching baby stuff.  Registering for wedding stuff is mega fun...baby stuff is just stressful because there's so much to read about.

I'm also really hungry and want DH to wake up so we can go get breakfast.

    That made me laugh.

That reminds me have to do some baby shower planning.  The mama-to-be has 6 weeks to go and the only baby stuff she has is an awsome pac-n-play, 5 onesies, 8 newborn outfits and other very random baby stuff.  All given to her by me.  We are also giving her a stroller for the shower (I think).

Which brings up something else... I find it odd that the women who I invited to the shower keep asking me how much do they need to pay.  Ummm, in my world the host pays, so I'm just taken back by the question.

  • This is the one you asked about a few weeks ago?  It seems like you're more ready for her baby than she is!

That is odd that they keep asking...I'm assuming you've been to baby showers down there before and know if they're different at all.

  • oddly enough I really haven't been to too many.  Most of my friends do not have kids.   The few co-workers that do, we just did office ones, so not really the same.  The few I have been to were in people's homes.  Maybe that is the difference.  My home is not big enough, so I'm having it at restaurant.

And yes, I feel like I've done more research  in certain ways than she has for this baby.  Her pregnancy has been EASY. No sickness, no tiredness, no anything other than her sugar is high and she had to cut out sweets.   Every woman should be this lucky.

As far as when the baby comes, they are in for a RUDE awakening.  I really do not think either one is really prepared for this baby.

  • Ah, okay, so maybe that's just how they do it down there.

I've been super lucky so far with my pregnancy, but I know that.  And I'm smart enough to be terrified about when the baby comes.  :)  I hope that they'll manage and adapt when the kid gets here.  Do they know the gender?

  • It's girl... Eva  (can't remember the middle name)

It should be interesting.  The dad-to-be loves to go out most nights.  Not sure how he is going to take to having to stay home.  The dog is VERY spoiled.  That should be interesting also.  My friends is ridiculously nice and does not know the word 'No"

  • Lynda, do have FB?

H is getting ready to postthe video of when they were saving the whale.  Unfortunately no shots of him actually getting b*tch slapped by it.
