oh em gee, the gtg was amazing!  I posted pics a few days after.  We had a grand ol' time!  I just wish the weather wasn't awful so we could have stayed and hung out longer.

Well, it's been dull, but we have a new troll/newb who sucks: brimcleod. She went from bitching about her MOH to asking about planning a budget black tie wedding, to asking if it was okay to require her redneck relatives to wear shoes to the ceremony. And she wears neon pink eyeshadow.

Rach, the last time I noticed neon pink eyeshadow was when I got it for free with the Polly Pocket I got for Christmas one year. No lie. I wore it like a champ for about 45 minutes and then my GranE freaked out and took it off me.

I just giggled when you said (typed) polly pocket...because the polly pocket song started playing in my head. And I felt like I was 5 all over again.

Opal--Bec was a freak of nature. I've learned the hard way that the more I try to be like Bec, the more it backfires in my face. I just admire her from afar now. I just can't wait to see pictures of your hottie little self in your gorgeous dress!!

I just didn't have a big budget, so I had to make everything I couldn't afford. That makes me poor, not a freak of nature. I am also just stubborn enough to kill myself trying to do it all alone. Don't do that. Just do what you can and forget the rest. Like you said - in 3wks you'll be on a beach with your new husband and nothing you are worrying over will matter!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is bugged by her. I noticed last night that she now has a ticker for when she's "graduating with [her] PhD." You know, in case any of you bitches forgot she is smarter than you. Seriously, I think education is something to be proud of, but for some reason her having that ticker is both appropriate (for her) and extremely annoying to me. There are so many smart and/or educated ladies on here, and yet who somehow manage to not shove it in everyone's face (or have a ticker).
