My FAIL for the day........

I was just in the kitchen after lunch and my director was talking to me and another lady.  The director had on navy blue pants, navy belt and a dress shirt.  Well on his belt there was this light brown color sticking out, almost like it was resting on his belt. 

I said, "hey director guy, you have a piece of what looks like hot dog stuck on your belt".  So of course he's confused, because what director guy eats hot dogs (and we just had pizza for lunch).  He tries to look down at it to see what it is and then of course he can't see his belt because his stomach hangs over it too far to see.  So that created an awkward moment, like a dog chasing his tail sort of thing.  Well then he adjusts his belt and it turns out it's just the loop part kind of turned inside out that holds the extra belt piece in. 

Thankfully he's laughing at me, and so is the other lady.........I just said, "ummm, I'm sorry for creating that awkward moment" and left. 

SUPER FAIL of the day. 

Someone tell me something funny they did today.  Please.

This isn't particularly funny, but it's a planning fail. My DL expired on my birthday in August. Still haven't gotten it renewed because I just thought "Well, I'm gonna have to get a new one after I change my name anyway. MIght as well wait." Only you have to have valid (current) ID to get the marriage license, which I realized yesterday. So yeah. Fail. I'm going to the DMV tomorrow to get it renewed, then I'll be back in a couple of weeks to get my name on it changed. Stellar planning on my part.

Oh, Stacks, that's unfortunate.

I haven't failed today, but I did for sure go to work with my shirt on inside out on monday. That was awesome.

I walked halfway to the train with two different shoes on this morning. Fail. 

They were both flats - one gray, one blue - but I still felt pretty dumb....I briefly considered not turning back, but decided that would not be a good thing to be made fun of about all day.

My only fail thus far today was almost eating pavement because of slippery leaves on the ground.  And yes, someone saw me stumble and made fun of me for it.  Eh well.

I haven't left my house yet today, and am working from home, so no fail for me yet today.  But I'm usually good for some big time fails. 

Totally off-topic, but woo hoo I'm finally working again.  Even if its only a few days a week.  And working from home totally allows me to knot still.

Hahah, I especially liked how you said it was a hot dog, knowing he probably didn't even have a hot dog today. 

I have a fail and I am still irritated about it.  I am taking a girl's trip to MOA this weekend with my family and for some unknown reason they thought it would be fun to color coordinate a bit.  I tried to talk my way out of it, but it didn't work.  So I have this stupid blue shirt I'm supposed to bring and I even layed it out on the bed so I wouldn't forget when I packed over lunch.  I ended up putting my bag right on top of the shirt when I packed so I left it at home.  I realized it halfway to work (already really late) and had to call H to bring it to me.  He is home sick so I felt terrible, but it would have taken me an extra hour to pick it up after work because I'm leaving tonight.  Ugh, I hate that blue shirt so much!

Uh oh.  I think around here if you let your DL expire you have to retake the test.  Hope that's not true for you!

My coworker interviewed a furry today at work and asked if the person dressed up in full furry-wear (they were discussing previous work history, and the person worked somewhere directly furry-related).  The person said they wears a tail and ears, but that's all.  I find that to be hilarious.

Almost just got eaten by elevator doors in a building at work.  It's in a highrise with a bay for 4 elevators all controlled by one set of call buttons.  Somehow the door timing on one of them is waaaaaaaaaay off, and the doors are literally open for one second.  And these doors open and close fast too.

My fail of the day. I shipped a banner from Pittsburgh to Texas, only to find out that it was the wrong color because I didn't read the email right. So now we have to reprint the banner, and ship it overnight, for $100. Best part is, I had to beg the UPS guy (who was a substitute) to come back in an hour because the banner wasn't ready yet. The regular guy would have done it no problem. I practically had to promise this guy my first born child to get him to come back.
