Broken thread madness.

Did anyone else notice Piper's name changed to "Spunkchin" right before that thread broke?

WTF is going on around here?

Re: Broken thread madness.

  • I didn't notice that one, but a lot of people's names have been popping up as different ones temporarily.  Just one of the on going problems the TK IT team seems unable to fix, haha.

  • Yea... I don't know, but I did it that time for sure.  I was copy/pasting the thread she said where the comment Piper posted wasn't there anymore, and it most certainly is.

    Sorries. :(
  • I don't know, but it's super frustrating that all the threads are breaking on the one day in a long time that I've actually been on a computer to participate.

If only IT would get the iPhone crap worked out.

  • I can't answer that, I'm currently hiding under the covers. Make it stop.

  • So apparently copy/pasting doesn't work.  Good to know.
  • Now, nobody will be able to read my comments. ::sigh::

  • I'd still like to know if kiki is/was a stripper.

  • mah!  I noticed that too Salt!

  • And, for those of you who are seriously searching out reasons to make this continue on *any* goddamn longer than necessary, it's the fifth post from the bottom, on the first page.

    Christ.
  • Isn't it true though when names have been changing that they are changing to an original name they had, or a name they have on the nest?  So could Spunkchin on the nest be the Piper identity?

  • Awhile back a girl started posting here who was either kiki or she had a name extremely similar to that and she had a thread about how she was a stripper on the side to make extra $$ but couldn't tell her fam about it because they were super relig and would cast her out or something. No one was mean to her about it and the girl continued to post after that.

So yeah it was either kiki or someone with a similar name who eventually went away.

  • No, the same names things have been totally off.  Like, Dani showed up as CS for me one day.  Pretty sure they're not the same.

  • FWIW, I just read the thread amoro posted and the post that Piper claimed disappeared is still there.

Good going, people.  Let's all put our glasses on, conspiracy theories away and get over it?

    Piper, you're a moron.

Do they have an office in Boston?  Although, I guess if I worked for TK I couldn't post? Bummer.

I'd imagine it's something they could do from anywhere if it's IT.

I've wondered lately if they read all the insults to their intelligence/competence here and are just like, "oh oops, looks like we won't be able to fix that glitch for another half hour. Technical difficulties and all."

Ya know, I hear those IT folks work really hard, they adopt stray kittens, and always recycle.

  • haha... yeah, I'm sure fixing our FFF threads are not at the top of IT's list of things to fix on TK!

  • I sent the broken threads to KA, and she's doing something with that info.

And, nope, I bet they don't read the threads much.  They prob just open them from time to time to make sure they open and move on.  And, like the rest of our industry, they're probably 70 % male, so they are likely half afraid to read anything on a wedding message board.
