I don't see why everyone is so confused. 
My boss does an inspirational/happy thought of the day every day and it goes over really well, so I thought I'd start doing it here.  Like paying it forward?  It's just a little bit of sunshine for people's days. 

For those of you who keep complaining how "positive" it is or eyeroll it, nobody is forcing you to open the thread.

I don't understand a few things:
A) Why an AE or completely seperate thread is needed to spread happy thoughts. Why not just be cheerful?
Why people think it's such a big deal.

I just think its lame as fvck. And not at all endearing. If you posted this under your real name it might be actually thoughtful, but to me this is just creepy. And weird. I like happy thoughts from people I care about, not from someone who made up a SN to post these things.

And good job on coming up with the most amazing comeback line to ever grace the internet. Of course no one is forcing us to read this thread just like no one is forcing you to post these stupid fvcking threads but you do and guess what I read the drivel you are posting so hey.. we both are gluttons for punishment.

If my boss did a happy thought of the day I'd roll my eyes at him too and then make fun of him with my coworkers at happy hour.

God I love Midge.

My boss comes in whenever I'm having a sad day and goes "Smile!  God loves you!"  Of course, when HE'S having a bad day, he just snipes at me, so it clearly doesn't go both ways.

The person we bought the wine/champagne off of wants us to try the champagne at home before the wedding to make sure we like it. It came to the house yesterday. I now want a glass.

I love champagne at weddings.  I have yet to find one in the store that I like as much.  The champagne at our wedding and the one my cousin had were delicious, and I can't find them in the stores.
