I am a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and the couple is having 2 receptions.
I will be attending both (both I will have to travel to) and am curious how gift giving works...
Normally I'd give cash. Do I have to give at both? If so, do I have to give my normal gift amount at both? Should I split it up and go 50/50? Or perhaps just get a small gift for reception #2??
What is the etiquette? Also please keep in mind that neither myself or the bride are exactly high rollers... I certainly can't afford to give and two weddings, but don't want to be tacky.
