My boyfriend and I are invited to his cousin's wedding in early October, but we never got an actual invitation (neither did his sister). Cousin assured him that we were both invited, so no problem. I know that the wedding will be held in a church and the reception will be at a ballroom. Neither of these places has a website and couple doesn't have a wedding website. I don't know either of the venues because the wedding is about six hours away. BF asked his mom what she thought the formality of the attire would be, and she said "on the casual side of dressy". I've never been to a wedding where I wasn't in the bridal party, so I'm stumped. So, am I right in thinking that the following dresses would be appropriate?
