Hi All,
FI and I are having a smallish wedding of 80 people max. Each single guest will be allowed to bring ONE guest. We have asked both our families that no children attend.
One of FIs aunts is already on Facebook talking about how she needs to find clothes for BOTH her kids for the wedding. She hasn't even received her invite yet (which will state "FirstName LastName and guest" not "FirstName Lastname and kidsnames". Her children are a bit older where they wouldn't necessarily be against our no babies/kids rule (think more middle school aged).
What would you recommend to do? Wait to give her a call until I receive her RSVP or tackle the issue right away? I was also considering waiting to talk to her until we receive some RSVPs of those who cannot come - to create room if she wants to bring both her children. I'm trying to be flexible here because they are older kids, and I don't want to ruffle feathers because his family is definitely the kind to take it personally.
