I just read that a Staten Island man spent $140,000 of his life savings on billboards advertising the end of the world May 21st.

WTF is he going to do when he wakes up on the 22nd broke?

I am so impressed. That is one of the funniest things EVER! Also, I'm kinda pissed about this whole May 21st thing. Does that mean I have to spend eternity pregnant? Also, I was going to go to Europe, you know? Hey at least I have a really fun day planned for May 20. Whew!

I wish I could ask Jesus to postpone it until June. I really did put a lot of money into the wedding and it would be a shame to miss out on it.

I saw someone with some sort of sticker on their car about the rapture coming on the 21st.  They were clearly heading to work at 6 am.  I could only wonder "Why bother?"

I don't understand why people try to predict the Rapture.  It goes against what is said in the Bible, so not only are they idiots, apparently they're not following Jesus' instructions.

kiki, according to Fred Phelps we are going to eat our babies during the tribulation. So, at least we won't be hungry.

There's one of those billboards down the road from us. It freaks me out. All of the "THE WORLD IS ENDING!!!" stuff makes me sad. I hope it's not true. I mean, I dont THINK it is...but it's one of those weird looming things that freaks me out.

That makes me sound like a weirdo.

We actually saw two RVs with all the "end of the world" stuff on the road a few weeks ago. I kinda scratched my head and went WTF? I then saw a billboard that also said there would be a program on their "Family Radio" on 5/21. If the world is ending, why are you having a radio show?

And finally, do you think it's fate that my company picnic is on May 21st?

My Best friend's wedding is schedualed for May 21st.  She is christian woman.
 It is alot of preparation for nothing.  Hope it turns out well and we are around to look at the pictures.
