LJ: Dowager's hump

I regularly go to the chiropractor.  I am irritated that I never seem to get better, so I mentioned to the chiropractor that I was curious about some neck exercises.  Apparently I have a genetic dowager's hump.  It's slight, but basically means instead of my spine going out between my shoulder blades it kind of goes in and as a result, I have a little hump at the bottom of my neck.  I am this lady!

I have that too! I never knew that's what it was called, but I definitely have a hump. I have terrible back pain between my shoulder blades too. My mom has the hump too.

Everything I have on my body is always sore. So, that doesn't really help.

Well then yes, yes they do hurt. And I think I slightly resemble that little old lady in your picture---but, that may be because I'm Slouchy McPoorPosture.

I'm pretty sure I have that as well. I noticed it last year and even when I stand up straight, it's still there. Maybe I'm seeing things, but I think it's that.
