BCP question - sorry!

I just went to take my pill and found that I forgot to take it yesterday evening!  There's no chance I'm pregnant, for the record.  I just took my pill; this is the normal time of day I take it.  So....do I try to make up the extra one I missed yesterday by taking it in 12 hours or so, or do I just let it go and take my next pill at my normal time tomorrow?

TIA....and sorry, I know you guys hate birth control questions!

I'm pretty sure if you miss one you're supposed to double up the next day

If I miss one, I take both at the same time the next day.  This is what it says to do in the little info that comes with the BC.

If you just miss one, you're supposed to take the missed one as soon as you remember and the next one at the regular time.

These aren't the bad BC questions. These we can actually help with.

DON'T SKIP PILLS. as soon as you remember that you forgot, take the pill you missed and continue on with your normal schedule. i.e. if you normally take your pills at 5 p.m. but you forgot, and then remmber the next day at 10 a.m., take the forgotten pill at 10 a.m. and then the next pill at 5 p.m. on the same day. it won't hurt! i used to do it all the time. i wasn't having sex though, it was for regulatory needs, so i'm not sure of the repercussions in terms of protection from pregnancy. I just know they tell you not to skip pills.

I agree with pp.  Take your one you missed ASAP, and then your regular one for today as scheduled.

ETA: I have no memory, so I forget a pill all the time- at least once a month- and have to do this.  It's been that way for about 4 years, and I am yet to get knocked up, so... I wouldn't worry too much.

Sounds like you've got it under control, but this is why I use Nuva-Ring. I sucked at remembering to take my pills at the same time everyday.
