2. first cassette tape:  I think I had CDs before I had tapes.  The first tape I remember buying was Dirty Dancing...but I know Whitney's "Whitney" album predated that.

Daffodil, you going to any of the shows this summer?  We did festival 8 and FI was trying to convince me to go to Berkely for 3 nights for our honeymoon, instead I got him tickets to Deer Creek.  So excited!

yep! we're hitting merriweather and telluride. in fact, we're just nailing down our colorado plans/reservations these past couple of days. i'm SO psyched! i'm jealous you were at 8. we saw the 3d movie and it looked so awesome there. shows sounded damn good too.

and ditto that Brad Paisley is all kinds of awesome. I have several of his albums and went to a concert a few years ago. trying to get DH to take me to another one.
