We did go back two days later at the correct time to see them!  No cubs though.  That would have been neat!

Manda, that just means you have to come to the Vegas GTG!    My team also got 2nd at our quiz last night, by 3 points.  We have a huge thing in January called Geek Bowl, and I'm SO excited about it.

I effing LOVE bar trivia! It's so fun.

There was a bar in Indy I used to go to and they would have "Name that Tune" trivia where the DJ would play snippits of songs and you got one point for the right name of the song and one point for the right artist.

Winners got pitchers of beer. It was my favorite.

Aw, that's sad :(  So, do they do cumulative scores throughout the season or something?  Ours is a year round thing, and there are just various winners every night.  Then Geek Bowl is a whole seperate thing- you have to buy tickets and it's in a big theater.  They even have spectator tickets!  We came in 16th out of 150 teams last year.

Fishy, we have a round like that every week!  Round 2 is always audio clips.  Sometimes they'll do something funny, though- last night it was covers of popular songs by mariachi bands.  There are free beers at the end of each round for getting a bonus question right, and winners get gift certificates.  So, lots of free beer!
