My husband and I got married in California two weeks ago and then came back to Kansas for a reception on Friday night. There were a handful of people that had RSVP'd that they would be there, but did not show up. Is it appropriate for me to quietly, privately, talk to them about it? I don't want them to feel bad, but I also don't want them to think I didn't notice they weren't there. My comment would be nothing more than a "hey, we missed you Friday night. Is everything ok?"
