FI wants to walk in to part of the Pixie's "Here Comes Your Man" along with his 2 best friends; one the officiant and the other the Best Man. He jokes around about "why does only the bride get a special song?" I think it's cute and fits our whole wedding. Not traditional, pop/rock music heavy, in an art museum, etc.
So we thought something like FI/BM/Officiant entering, then the processional with seating of the mothers, rest of the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and me. Ceremony is gearing up to be super short since it's not religious, no flower girls/ring bearers, unity candles, sand, whatnot.
Well today FMIL asked us about the rehearsal timeline and brought up the entrances. When I mentioned that we were thinking her youngest son (a GM) would escort her, followed by FFIL, she said she was hoping FI could walk her down.
Is there a way to make this work where FI gets his little entrance too? Or should we keep with FBIL escorting her or have FI escort her then walk to his spot and nix his song (I don't want to do that). Ideas? I'm having trouble thinking about anything right now though. haha. Taking engagement pics in a couple hours and leaving for Louisiana in the morning.
