Evening ladies. Posting quickly on my phone. Edmund is doing great. He is very healthy and he has huge feet. We have managed to successfully nurse and he has actually gotten somewhat of a suckle. He's in the nursery right now but about to be brought down to feed. I'm tired. Didn't need the induction after all. Had contractions on my own all afternoon yesterday. They still gave me the cervidil which within 20 minutes had me writhing in pain. After an hour of that and screaming bloody murder they took that out and I was at a 3 at 1145. By 1am I wanted the epidural got that and at 2 I was at a 6. They broke my water at 315 and I was at a 9. I started pushing at 415 and he was born at 424.

Ciara! Congrats on the little guy! Woot, woot!!

And yes! she has hearing aids, and they do help for now, but because she was born with so little hearing, they aren't sure how much/long she'll be able to hear in the future. She's so freaking adorable. She's communicating pretty well right now, actually.

I think my 2nd favorite part of the night (after Fishy being on stage) was when the engaged guy got the lap dance from the black guy that worked there. HILARIOUS.
