Re: TOLEDO, OHIO Brides --- Officiant help!!

  • Post this on a local Toledo area board.  This board is internation (I'm in NJ and don't know anything about Toledo) and we can't help you with specifics like this one.In general, you can contact your local court and have a judge marry you, you can call the office that deals with marriage licenses and ask them for recommendations. Go online and see what the requirements for officiants in your area are:  can you use a notary?  Can you use a friend who is ordained online?  Call local churches and ask if their minister will officiate your wedding (it doesn't have to be in their church unless you want a Catholic wedding.)  Unitarian Universalist ministers are very open to conducting weddings.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
  • Thank you  :o)  I will contact the courts this week (online website wasn't very helpful)... This was my first post -- I'm new to the knot!  I will go to the local board...
