Deleting account

I have been lurking here for awhile, am now engaged and would like to start using the site.  The problem is I need delete this account and make a new one (yes my name is my user name).  I would just make a new account along side this one, but I really want to use the same e-mail address.  Any ideas on how to completely delete an account?

You can't.  Just make a new one.

You would have to e-mail the Knot and ask for your account to be deleted.

Why don't you just edit this post so that no one knows what your username really is? I didn't jump to conclusions about it being personal info about you - it's not like it's "Jennifer.Marie.Smith@gmail.com" which would give me way too much info.

I was thinking the exact same thing Emily.  If she hadn't said that it was her name, I never would have thought it was.  It doesn't seem like a name to me.

You thought a bunch of other people were going to figure out that your name is Moscko? And then point out that your username is too personal? It's ok to have your first name in your username. It's a little hard to stalk with just a first name to go on.
