I am in the middle of typing my outer envelopes for my wedding invites and my MOH calls. I tell her that I wrote mom on the invite and she starts talking about how I should have put her real name and mr and ms or mrs in front of everyone. I feel like that can be so impersonal sometimes and ended up just writing full names of people not married, like john smith and jane doe, and the with families wrote the smith family. Inside each invitation has a belly band and a name tag instead of an inner envelope, like john, jane and joe. Is this wrong? will this offend people? I am so confused now on what to do with wording!!! Why does it have to be so difficult!!! I really wanted to have a more casual feeling for this wedding, the invite wording is casual as well. I am tired and done for tonight but would really like some opinions on this...
