Do I have to invite my friend's boyfriend to the wedding/reception? My FI and I are not friends with him, actually none of our mutual friends are friends with him. We hardly know him, and I wouldn't miss him if he wasn't invited. I just want my friend and she wouldn't be alone because all our other friends will be there who she hangs out with often.

You should not split up couples. How would you feel if your FI was not welcome somewhere?
