Hello my E ladies - happy Saturday!  I'm in bed drinking coffee and waiting for the big game this afternoon (Mich v. MSU).

Last night H and I went to a very nice restaurant and had a very yummy dinner.  I tried duck for the first time ever and totally loved it.

I have bronchitis, but FI is home for the weekend (he was away for his Correctional Officer training a few hours away).

We went to Olive Garden last night because we had a gift card.

Laundry and grocery shopping is on the table today.

poor liza.  I'm sorry you are sicky.  I can't really describe what it tasted like - maybe a little like turkey?  It was sausage so it kinda tasted like turkey sausage.

Good morning! I went to bed at 9 last night and woke up an hour ago. I feel so refreshed. I was going to make cookie dough, but realized I have insufficient butter, and I'm just not ready to go to the store yet.

Good morning!

Taryn was up for 3 hours in the middle of the night.  I'm not sure what was going on, but she woke up and didn't want to go back to sleep.  Luckily, she snoozed with me for about an hour after she woke up for her first feeding.

If DH ever gets up, we're spending the weekend working on the new house.  We're probably going to take Taryn to the pumpkin patch this weekend, too

FI and I have to go suit shopping today because my sister's wedding is next weekend and his suit doesn't fit.  But I threw out my back last night (in my sleep, for Christ's sake!) and I'm barely sitting upright with a heating pad.

Good morning.  We don't have much planned for today.  H has to get a new dress uniform so we will probably go to the base today, and there's an italian restaurant next to it we want to try .  Thats about it.  We planned on going to an Oktoberfest today, but its 2 hours away and we have nothing to do with our dog.  Plus it really made no sense to drive 2 hours each way to eat some food and be able to have like 2 beers. 

Yeterday we went pumpkin picking and did some other sightseeing.  Well, sightseeing for me and H just showing me around since we went to the town he used to live.  But I took to the ferry for the first time ever yesterday!  Haha H makes fun of me that I'm so excited about it, but I've never been on one before and I think its pretty awesome.

Okay, I know he's not an orange cat, but since this has turned into a "show off you kitty" thread...this is Thor. Yes, he needs to go to fat camp - and he likes Glee.





He also tries to keep me from using frozen food when I make dinner.





Mostly he's just weird and gets his head stuck in things - like the Dillards Bag handle (please ignore my extremely messy room)

Thor is adorable- I love his spots.  He's a little moo-cat.

We have Halloween kitties.  Sony looks like a monster, but Harrison, although 4 years younger and 7 pounds lighter, has the run of the house. 




He looks like he's passed out here, but he's just rubbing his cheek and licking the cutting board furiously to get every bit of kalamata olive juice he can.

Well, I guess its afternoon now. I am here, barely moving. I still feel like crap, gonna give it until Monday then I am making a doctor's appt. This is totally not like me to be unmotivated to do anything. And were are moving in a month and we need to start packing. The couch and my blanket are calling my name...

Oh my gosh!!! How CUTE is that picture where they're cuddled!? You should totally do a halloween card one year with them like that lol.

Thor is a jerkface, lol. He wakes me up by eating my hair every morning so I will feed him. I actually told FI if we get the house we should probably give Thor to our cat lover friend and he was NOT happy about that. He considers Thor his little ninja friend lol. We are SO not cat people. We found Thor one day because our lab started barking at something on the patio - Thor just looked at her and was like "Seriously, dog? You can't get me, there's glass here"...he was so much of a badass that we felt we HAD to keep him.

I'm astounded by how different a cat is than a dog. I love finding him in weird places lol.

Missy - I hope you feel better!! This weather is killing everyone around here. My boss has been out since Tuesday with a kid with a sinus infection and now a 4 year old with Mono. The kids I babysit daily both have colds - it's horrible!

LDY, that house is really cute.  I really hope it all works out.  (And, yeah, I realized you started a new thread right after I posted it in here...totally not on top of things this morning).

That's a great story of how you got Thor; I'm always amazed at how cats really do have their own distinct personalities.  And FI is the same way with Sony; he calls him our little puma.  They're such jerks, though.  We wake up every morning around 4 to them chasing each other up and down the apartment.  Our downstairs neighbors say they sound like miniature horses galloping back and forth.

It's totally afternoon now, but FI and I have been working on the floors and went to this flea market/antique place up the road. I found a guy there that says he can fix my cedar chest (I totally dropped the lid and it broke into many pieces). Yay!! I'm pretty sure it's just floors the rest of the day. Although I would love a day to just chill and not do anything.
