Your 'points'

Has anyone else noticed that when viewing a PM, there are 'points' allocated to each person? I noticed I had 198 points, sent a PM and then had 200... but given that I haven't sent/received 100 PMs, I'm gathering that I don't get two points per PM and I'm somewhat confused about what the points are supposed to reflect... My awesomeness rating on a scale of 1-10? Any other ideas?

I noticed that, I have no idea how many I have though because I deleted what was there. I also noticed you can see the online bubble when youre reading PM's.

Maybe PM points and post points are different.  I'm sure it is completely arbitrary and pointless.

I don't think it's just PM points, it's the nest/bump points.  They're useless and I have no idea how they accumulate and don't care enough to ask anyone on tn/tb.

sure, here. I'm not the new kid on the Houston board, and none of them have sent me PMs either. and I've actually gone to a GTG with them. hmmph.

Well, PM's suck anyways---as it take forever to even realize they are there (so you're not missing out on much )
