Would it be tacky to read a poem to my fiance at the rehearsal dinner? It would probably get emotional, but considering it is close family and friends, I don't know that anyone would be bored by it. I just don't know if this is the right place to do it at. The RD is supposed to be for the people involved in the wedding in which we do have a speech prepared for the them. Thoughts?
