skincare help

Suggestions would be so appreciated! My wedding is in 10(!) days and I have a blemish on the side of my face, near my mouth/stache area. I wouldn't call it a zit, it's more like an under the skin red bump.

Normally I cover these with makeup and it works pretty well, but I'd rather not deal with it on my wedding day. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and have experience with fixing it?!

Re: skincare help

  • Oh and it might rain on the wedding day, and my hairstylist wants to cancel my appointment on Tuesday, but this is the problem I'll concentrate on at the moment :(

  • LC, what will drawing it to the surface do? Make it go away faster, or bring it up so that zit cream will be effective?

  • You can try to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist who will inject it with cortisone.  That will make it go away in about 1-3 days.  It may be difficult this close to your wedding, but call around and find out.

It'll bring it up so that zit cream will work and it'll go away faster. You don't want that bacteria just sitting way down deep in your skin.

I would do this.  Tell them your wedding is xx date and I'm sure someone would be able to squeeze you in.
