Squirrly (proud mommy of an Olive)

I hope you jump to the next fruit soon because I don't like Olives at all.  i'll like your baby olive though!

Anyways, saw the most recent ban, and if I could kiss you through the computer I would!  Oh wait, Kiss

  • I saw that and it made me want a martini with blue cheese stuffed olives ;)

  • You're welcome.  :D

And, I'm with you on the olive sentiments.  Love the baby.  Not a fan of olives.  EXCEPT black olives stuffed with cheese, battered, and deep fried.  A restaurant I was a server at once upon a time served those.  YUM.

  • Is there anything battered and deep fried that is not delicious?  mmmmm....
    Photobucket
  • Yeah, it was more like salty deep fried cheese than olive-y.

  • Hmmm, that may be the only way I would be willing to eat olives.  I have never had anything deep fried that I have not found to be delicious.  We had went to the NYS Fair right before we moved and had deep fried oreos, pickles, alligator, and cheesecake.  it was all so amazing, and i definitely rolled out of there!

  • Oh, and it'll be an olive until next Tuesday.  Sowwy!  I think next week is a prune.  Exciting.  :D

  • Haha, sadly I kinda like prunes.  I try not to eat them though for obvious reasons.

I do have to say though that even though I don't like olives, your baby olive is making me want to drink.  I hope that isn't indicative of my motherly instincts!

  • I figure I really have no motherly instincts when baby olive makes me want a martini.  but i kinda already knew that.
Squirrly - I was so excited to get to work on our floors soon - and my dog had to go and tear his ACL.  There goes part of our flooring fund...  Thanks Beefy.

  • I was having the opposite thought- I love olives and I feel bad that I want to eat squirrly's baby.

  • Haha, Squirrly you better sleep with 1 eye open now!

  • And wait... who got banned?  Did I read that wrong?

  • I love olives, but I don't want to eat squirrly's baby. However, I'm worried about when the baby becomes a plum. Because I love plums and I think that for whatever time period baby squirrly is a plum I'm going to be craving them every time I see the ticker.
  • I like the name Olive.

  • I feel like I should send you all fruit baskets for Christmas, or something.

My friends named their dog Olive, so that kind of ruined it for me for a human.

<div>HA! Maybe you can start a fruit of the month club type thing where people can buy pregnant ladies a subscription and they get a box of whatever fruit their baby is the size of that week. Then again, it's a little morbid maybe. Also, how many women would panic when they got a crate of watermelons...?</div>
  • By the time you're at watermelon, I don't think you have the time or energy to deal with a whole crate of watermelons.

But, now I really want battered deep fried cheese - with or without the olive.

  • Yeah this whole thread has me hungry, and definitely not craving fruit.  Its probably a really good thing that its only 8:30 and I have no access to fried food right now.
