Happy Easter!

How is everyone?  Any good treats in the Easter basket?

Re: Happy Easter!

  • Morning Mica!  Happy Easter to you too!

No treats here, but I am excited to go take some photos of my nieces and nephews this afternoon.

My Easter plans were derailed because H has to work and the movers who were supposed to deliver stuff to me on Thursday or Friday told me last night that they are coming over between 10-12 today.  :(  I'm going to try to go to Easter lunch a little late at my in-laws so that I can see my nephew.  He's awfully cute.
  • Morning!

Julia was too cute with her basket.  She said, "WOW!" and got right into the jelly beans.

That's adorable, Mrs. B.  Happy Easter to you and Julia!
  • Mica that is horrible!!!!  I would be furious....and on the phone demanding some sort of $$ back as soon as my stuff arrived safely.
  • If only it were that easy.  My parents made the arrangements and paid for it... and signed a contract that said that if certain conditions happened, we'd owe them extra money.  Well, guess what?  Yup.  They are insisting that they need a small truck to get down the street because of low hanging branches.  So now they've ruined my Easter and I have to pay them an extra $250.  :(
  • Good morning. That really sucks Mica.

I found out last night that my grandparents from Buffalo won't be able to make the trip down for the wedding. My grandpa is in bad health so I can understand but I'm still very disappointed.
  • I'm sorry, Aleigh.  That sucks.
  • Mica: yikes.  I would see if they could wave the additional fee since they are later than they said they would be and on a holiday no less.

Aleigh: that stinks....i know it must hurt.  When H's dad started to become ill, he decided to wait until after he passed to propose.  He told me he always expected his dad to be his Best Man, and since that couldn't happen, he couldn't even think of getting married if his dad was just not able to come.
  • That sucks, Mica.  They're late AND they want you to give up your family holiday time?  That's aggravating.

    I'm sorry Aleigh.  =-(

  • Happy Easter.

Figures the first time in over 15 years I get to go to Easter Brunch I wake up with a killer sore throat and a slight cough.

Reservations are not until 3, so I think will wait it out to see if I get better

  • Did you take anything for it Lynda?
  • Happy Easter!  and good morning.  Apparently the Easter Bunny skips your house if you have no kids.

I have no meal plans at all today.  Just going to church and then I have softball practice later.  Maybe I'll cut the grass today too since it's pretty nice out.

  • Happy Easter!

Last year FI made me an Easter basket for the first time. This year I got nothing. He doesn't not understand that you can't just randomly start these things because I figure I am going to get one every year now.

We are just hanging out today and I'm going to try a new recipe. We will probably watch a movie at some point.

That's because the EB knows that Monday is a perfect time to hit the stores and get candy for 50% off.  ;-)
