Amoro used to piss me off and I generally thought she was just sort of a b!tch, but over time I "got to know her" better and now I think she's great and I enjoy it when she posts.  I'm pretty sure she already knows this.

I like LaurenClaire....

I was on here a few years ago but broke that relationship off and now I am back again.  I have the same SN and notice that there are some of the same people who were already married back then who are still on today.  My only conclusion to them is they don't have real friends IRL, so they move to theknot to make other snarky internet friends.

And to be a total cop out, TR bugged me in the beginning and now I like her. My opinion of regs has changed. None of them are particularly scary to me any more. And yeah, I'm the loser that avoids confrontation even on the internet, which is why I was always scared of pissing regs off.

Also some people are still here because they made friends and because they Knot at work.  So it's not that they don't have friends IRL, it's that they're stuck at a computer all day with nothing much else to do.  Just sayin'.

I think I thought Night_Sprite was mean for no reason when I first started posting, but now I usually agree with what she says.

I go back and forth on Amoro, sometimes I want to high-five her for saying exactly what I'm thinking and sometimes I think she's too harsh.

Amoro: at first I didn't like her, then I went through a period where I liked her, and now I'm back to not liking her again. I just feel like she's extra prickly most of the time. Like dani said, I'm pretty sure she already knew this (about me).

And yes I know some people use this as entertainment at work, although there are people who do use this because they do not have friends. read their threads, it's obvious.

i have rl friends. i find the knot and fb to be an excellent diversion for me. i'll admit, i have made some new friendships on both. some i have met irl, and some not. i too am curious as to these peeps are that you refer to. come on, you put it out there with your broad generalization.

I don't know Buddha well and she's been around lots longer than I have, but I highly doubt she's on here because she has no friends IRL. Honestly, I don't think that's why anyone is here and I think it was an immature, pat response to people you don't like. When someone pisses you off on an internet forum it's easy to go, "oh well, your opinion doesn't matter because you probably have no friends IRL and that's why you're here." Having no social skills still translates to the internet. If you have no friends in IRL, then you probably don't have internet friends either.

Well obviously you aren't around too much then.  Those girls are tight knit group that actually ARE real life friends who vacation together and go travel to see each other.  So...I guess that blows your theory.

I was also a waffler on Night_Sprite.  I found myself arguing with her a lot or eye rolling her a lot, but lately I haven't been at all.  I guess she's growing on me.
