Good morning everyone! This is a post and run because I have to leave for work soon, but I wanted some wording help.
I'm throwing a bridal tea for a friend of mine at a hotel in New Orleans in January. Instead of it being a shower, I'd like everyone to bring her an antique teacup (bonus is that you can get cute ones for like $5) because her mother had an entire collection of mismatched antique teacups that were destroyed in Katrina. I just thought it would be really special.
So, I need some help. 1) Is this a terrible idea, and 2) How would you word the "bring a teacup" thing? I sort of think I need to explain why? Maybe not? I just am having trouble coming up with a good way to ask it.
