I hired Reverend Keith Chesterman (www.revkeith.com) for my wedding last night. We met with him, all things seemed great. And then HE DID NOT SHOW UP. When I called him 5 minutes into the ceremony, he had no idea that he was missing it. It is nearly 24 hours later and he has NOT EVEN CALLED OR EMAILED ME. This reverend will ruin your wedding day.

There has actually been a change in the board rules about vendor bashing. Negative reviews actually are allowed now. That's why I was trying to get more info. Can't blame her for wanting to warn other brides about an officiant that doesn't show. The local board will eventually be the more appropriate place for the negative review, though.

A little over a month ago. Vendors will be allowed to respond, though only through the proper channels on the knot who will post for the vendor. It's been a gentle transition to try to prevent an onslaught of vendor-bashing posts. Flagrant bashing posts will still be deleted, but at least knotties now have some ability to get the word out about bad vendors.
