[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Good morning! : This was actually my first instinct. With so many of you ill with widely varying symptoms, you may be exposing yourselves to mold or some other allergen in the workplace.

I've considered this because of the hives I started getting in the past year.  Unfortunately, I've actually moved buildings, not just offices so I'm not sure what's going on.

I'd love to be able to leave, but this job is pretty freakin' sweet and it's not like I'd find much else out there right now.

  • I want to see the finished tree!
  • Well, since Vally's married now, I guess her hooha is no longer pristine.

    We've missed you terribly!

  • I'll try to be short and sweet. We're married and elated! The day started out wonderfully, not a cloud in sight as rain was my biggest concern.

Turns out everything I was concerned about ended up being a non-issue. No rain, no trouble with the limo company, no problems with my hair stylist, and the food was phenomenel. The ceremony was by far my favorite part.

The things I wasn't worried about ended up causing the biggest headaches. Instead of rain we had gusty winds and chilly temps. So my gorgeous outside venue ended up being used for only about a 1/4 of the time. The cake was completely wrong but it still tasted GREAT!

BUT my wonderful family and friends had an amazing time and that's the most improtant thing. All in all it went by WAY too quickly. Well I guess that's relative if you conisder the ceremony started at 6 and the after party lasted until 4:30 am (5:30 the new time) Wink

Bec I promise a picture of the tree tomorrow!

Leaving might not be your only option, though. Many workplaces with these problems can be rehabilitated, though not all. Think about it this way: you're not being a disgruntled employee if you mention this to your higher-ups, you're recognizing an issue that hurts productivity in your office, and trying to fix it.
  • And WB Vally!

[QUOTE]Morning everyone!  I'm freakin' exhausted, even though I did nothing fun last night.  I've had this nasty cough since last week, and it's causing me to be awake all night coughing.  I haven't slept more than a couple of hours in the last 4 nights.  Pretty sure I'll be useless at work today.

That sounds like what I had last month - it progressively got worse to the point of constant coughing at night. You need to sleep almost upright, vix it up and GO TO THE DOCTOR. I left it long enough that it turned out I had a chest infection that took an additional week to heal after  I was started on antibiotics and my breathing was screwed up for atleast a month.
