I'm getting married for the second time and I have asked my son to give me away. The way I looked at it, my son is "REALLY" the one giving me away at this point and has to basically approve of my fiance in order to do that. The wedding is fairly big (about 200 guests) because my fiance has never been married before and he wanted a big wedding. However, the more I've thought about it, I kinda feel like I've left my stepfather out....(who gave me away the first time). My stepfather lives out of town with my mother and has never mentioned anything about it, but don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
I feel like I should ask him as well and have them both give me away (walk with both of them - one on each arm)....yet that feels like a big production to me...which I don't want to create.
