It's slooooooow. I'm bored. I did just eat a piece of home made cheesecake though. It was the best part of my day. Who's here?

I'm here still. Dh and I made a grocery run so I'm eating strawberries and feeling loopy as hell. I also emailed my boss to let him know I probably won't be in tomorrow.

Just plain cheesecake. I used Ina Garten's recipe. But it has an awesome mixed berry glaze to go on top. It's seriously freaking delicious. And the texture is all fluffy and perfect. I'm pretty proud of myself.

I'm here, kinda.  Watching Hoarders (the one on TLC) with DH and procrastinating going to fold laundry.

I'm here!  DH made dinner for one of my b/fs and me tonight and then we went for ice cream.  Now, we're watching ANTM.  Once that's over, I'm hitting the sack.  I'm exhausted from painting the dining room and working on the apt today.

I find that show really fascinating, but I can't watch more than like 10 minutes of it. It makes me feel all icky inside.

So far ok loopy from pain killers. It's just a strange feeling, honestly I feel sort of like I would imagine a dog would feel with a short attention span. It takes me a couple minutes to focus on something, then all of the sudden 'ooh shiny object". I'm trying to not take anymore tonight and so far so good, its been 4 hours since my last dose and its still ok.

I was started to get naseous, then I realized it was probably because the only thing I had to eat today was some crackers, a V8 juice, and a bowl of soup. The strawberries are helping.

I love watching it on days where I feel like a loser.  It makes me feel like a winner.  I just can't imagine how people let their lives get like this but then I remind myself that they have mental issues and aren't just super messy people.

Hehehe my husband and I just walked to the corner store, and it has been raining all day. There were worms EVERYWHERE. Literally, everywhere. It was really hard navigating through them to not step on them because its dark and you can hardly see. Poor stupid worms.

I'm with you on the not being bothered by worms thing. I've done enough fishing that worms don't bother me in the slightest. Or crickets, or minnows.

Wasting time looking online for furniture for a house I do not yet own. And then when I find something I love, I start searching for a house to put it in.

Basically, I wish I was still a teenage so I could justify getting this awesome light for my room, but alas, I think I am too old

I don't like worms on sidewalks because I don't want to squish them and sometimes there are so many it's difficult. Worms in dirt make me happy, especially when I can use them to creep out someone who doesn't like worms.

LC, I always love hearing about what you're eating/making.  Can I please hire you to be my live-in personal chef?

I'm watching "Top Chef Masters" and waiting for FI to get home from work.  I always hate going to be before he gets home, it just feels weird.

So I went to the Snarky brides board, and LC dear, you have to be more specific. There are like 8 threads of ridiculousness on that page alone, I couldn't choose just one to look at.

Felicity, I think that lamp is pretty cool. As long as there was nothing else frilly or pouffy in the room, it seems like it would work. I think it would look neat in a muted color room that had really clean, modern furniture.

Dude, that would be my dream job. Sadly I don't any person would hire me with zero formal training, except my mom. And I'm damn sure not going to culinary school. And ditto on the waiting on FI and feeling weird...except FI won't be home til Friday.

I hate it when Dh has to work inventories and gets home at 3 or 4 am. I always crash around 1, then just lay there in this half asleep state listening to every little sound then crash again when he walks in the door.

I think my hang up on it is because it is from the Pottery Barn TEEN collection. There is actually a cool kids room on HGTV's website that I think it would look awesome in:

FI has been gone during the week for the last five weeks. It's still not my favorite thing, but I've gotten more used to sleeping alone. It used to freak me out bad. It really helps to have a 60 lb dog who's very alert in bed with me. If there's anything going on around my house, I'll find out from her first.
