Those sound awesome, the mushroom one especially. There's the outdoor restaurant in Toronto in the summers and they do this braised shortrib poutine, omg it's to die for. Seriously amazing.

I just don't think I could get over the CURDS in poutine. Not saying I wouldn't try it, because I would. But the thought of curds is oogy.

And GB I agree with you about the curds. The thought made me cringe, but in reality it was just like soft, melty cheese.

Ha!  I didn't even see all of the poutine talk and I mention cheese curds.  I've never had poutine, but as much as I love cheese curds, I don't see how it could be anything less than fantastic!

Favorite Movie of 2010? hmmm.  i really liked love and other drugs.  but it's the most recent one i watched.  i can't remember any others.

Mandy, re: Shutter Island, in the end...was he (Leo) crazy or were they screwing with him?  And whatever the truth was did he know it or not?  I was confused.

I did not like Shutter Island. I mean, it could've been good, but I figured the end about fifteen minutes in. I preferred Inception.

I kind of guessed the end too, Alix, and what confused me was his "would you rather live as a monster or die a good man" question at the end.  I haven't seen Inception, I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

I haven't seen inception yet.

ANd yes, he was cured.  But, he decided it'd be easier to live life "crazy".  THen he didn't have to deal with the fact that his family is dead.
