One of my best girlfriends got engaged this past December, and I got engaged a few weeks ago. We're both teachers, so we want to get married over the Summer.
I've always wanted a Spring wedding, and my fiance and I have decided on June 16, 2012. We haven't booked anything. Come to find out, my friend has already booked a venue for June 30th.
There would be about 10 people (really close friends) attending both weddings. One is in Orlando and the other is in Atlanta.
Is planning my wedding to happen 2 weeks before hers rude? I'm planning to let her know (but FYI she hasn't told me her date...only found out through one of our other girlfriends). Do I need her permission?
My idea is to let her know but not really "ask" if it's okay with her.
