Roast in a crock pot question...

...being asked here because Mom's not answering the phone.

I'm making a beef roast for the second time ever. I'm doing it the same way I made it before, except I've got a bigger crock pot, so the liquid doesn't go up as high and cover the meat as much. Is it a big deal if the meat isn't covered with liquid? It's a flat bone-in beef roast, about 2.5 pounds if that makes a difference.

Re: Roast in a crock pot question...

  • Can you roast a turkey in a crock pot??  We're serving turkey at our wedding and I want it to be made as easily as possible.  Not a whole turkey..  just a turkey breast.
