Very odd, quick question

I need to know how deep the average champagne flute is (just the part that holds the bubbly). I'm at a craft store and trying to figure out how long of wooden sticks I need (I'm making little sticks with flags to go in the bubbly). I'm embarrassed that I didn't figure this out before I walked 30 minutes to the store. Anyone? If I could add an embarrassed emoticon here, I would. (ETA: I'm also embarrassed that I can't spell embarrassed.)

Err on the side of getting sticks that are too long, you can cut them down if necessary.

That's true about getting them too long. I tried googling it, but all I could find was the total height including the stem.

Looking at a ruler would guess around 4"-5"
