How did you come to start posting on E?  I think my first post was to someone asking for exercise/diet advice.

Are you a lurker or did you lurk before posting? If you're a lurker, how long, and why don't you post?  I lurked from about January-March last year.

What do you think of all the new posters? If you're a new poster, what makes you not suck?  Some I really like (evabee, ohwhynot, morfudd, psydet come to mind), others, not so much. 

Most annoying question asked on E?  Anything about not inviting kids to the wedding, infused with general hatred and contempt for anyone below the age of 18

Favorite posters and why?  Oh, I like most people around here.

How did you come to start posting on E? I came to try to delete my account, actually, because it was with my ex fiance and someone at work alerted me that I still had that up here over a year after I had called the wedding off. Of course they dont let you delete accounts, so I just changed it to be with Scott and stumbled across the boards.

Are you a lurker or did you lurk before posting? If you're a lurker, how long, and why don't you post? I lurked and slowly worked into posting.

What do you think of all the new posters? If you're a new poster, what makes you not suck? I haven't seen any that add anything to the table. Please prove me wrong. You know the newbie I miss? Gwenasaurus. I liked her.

Most annoying question asked on E? Any invitation question, or kid questions, or "my husbands an ass, please reassure me that everything is ok...WAIT BIITCHES, MY HUSBAND IS SO NICE HE MADE ME DINNER ONCE STOP NAYSAYING HIM!"

Favorite posters and why? I have lots o' them. If youre my FB friend, I like you. Well, and Vally too because she too damned stubborn to get Bookface.

How did you come to start posting on E? I found that the ladies on E are (for the most part) the most intelligent and witty people on any of the boards.  Seriously.  I struggle with stupid.

Are you a lurker or did you lurk before posting? If you're a lurker, how long, and why don't you post?  Oh, I lurked.  I lurked silently for about 6 months.  And I got minorly flamed on my first post.  Really shouldn't have done that first post while KUI.

Most annoying question asked on E?  I am really tired of the Dollar Dance debate.  If it is customary in your neck of the woods. . . do it.  If you have to question yourself about it. . . don't.  You don't need strangers to tell you what to do.  It's regional.

Favorite posters and why?  Fische was the first person who was really nice to me, (and I loved her slideshow, btw) and Duds and I are share the Ball U experience...I actually like most of ya!

I didn't lurk before my first post........I was upset that BIL was trying to get married the day after us and I got my ARSE handed to me.  So then I lurked for a few months and still came to love the ladies of E. 

What do you think of all the new posters? If you're a new poster, what makes you not suck? I like some of them for entertainment value, but not many have impressed me.

Most annoying question asked on E? ZOMG do I have to send a plus 1?  OR ZOMG they added a plus 1 - what do I do?

Favorite posters and why?  So funny story.  I was thinking you meant poster like on a wall and I immediately thought about how I just bought a Megan Fox poster for my brother who turns 16 today and how I really didn't want to give it to him because I wasn't sure what he'd "do" while looking at it.  YUCK. 

Then I realized POSTER duh - I'm on the E.  LOL.  My favorite poster would have to be a combo of a few.  Fish of course for her "swing in and tell people to stfu so nicely" - Vally for her awesome one liners - Cew for her totally inappropriate but funny remarks.

I don't remember how long I lurked. I really don't think it was that long. But I didn't have any WR questions to ask, because I had just gotten engaged and really didn't have all that much planning to do.

I wish some of them would READ. Not necessarily lurk, but fuuck, if you look at the page and see a post titled "Invites/STDs/Kids at wedding" maybe you should read it instead of asking exactly the same question in a new post.

Kids at wedding. But it's only ridiculously obnoxious to me when they want kids in the wedding party, but that's it. I'm in the all or none camp.
Favorite posters and why?
Fishy, Bec, Cew, Sucrets, Roxy, Shelly, Beatles, Amoro. They've all made me laugh until I peed or said something kind to me at some point.

I started lurking when FI and I decided that we were going to get married and started looking at rings. I still don't post all that much.

Are you a lurker or did you lurk before posting?
I think I lurked for a few months beforte posting. When I started lurking I was travelling a lot, and you all provided great entertainment for me.

If you're a lurker, how long, and why don't you post?
Since October of 09. I can't knot at work and I am on the West Coast, so I miss a lot of the real time conversation. When I get on the Knot, I read through the day's posts, which prevents me from posting in any later threads. Maybe I should re-think my strategy.

What do you think of all the new posters?
Many of them bug me. It isn't hard to lurk, make a couple posts to get your feet in the water, then become a PW if you seem to be welcome.

Most annoying question asked on E?
 For me, invitations and children at wedding posts. Children at weddings questions can be SO family  and community specific that I don't see the point in posting it here. The money questions don't bother me as much because even though they are tacky, it is a tight economy and money is on a lot of people's minds. If only the posters could step out of their wedding and realize that guests may want to get them actual gifts because it is more affordable for the guest (gift card, discounts, etc)

 Favorite posters and why?
This has been changing for me recently. Cew, Dani, Squirrely (the original), Sarah#s and Kate#s. They are all intelligent, funny, can be a little snarky, but generally friendly. This applies to most of the regs, but these folks stick out.

How did you come to start posting on E? At the time, (P&)E was quite the happening place.  This was back in the day of Ramey and Chad.  I got sucked in by the cut-throat honesty and the entertainment.

Are you a lurker or did you lurk before posting? If you're a lurker, how long, and why don't you post? I started lurking when I got engaged.  I didn't actually make my first post until after my wedding which was only a few months later.

What do you think of all the new posters? If you're a new poster, what makes you not suck? I haven't been on much the last few days but I'm getting the vibe that a lot of the new posters need to study and apply the word LURK.

How did you come to start posting on E? Stumbled into the boards shortly before I got engaged and E was the most active so I lurked for a bit.  Still don't post a lot.  I usually feel like what I would respond has already been said and I don't want to just be posting "ditto pp" all the time .

I used to lurk for a long time. I lurked during the era of No P2 siggys and jessandgiff4eva. I also remember when P2 first started posting.

I like that there are many posts that don't involve weddings at all.  I mean, i'm excited for my wedding, I just don't feel the need to talk about it constantly.

Random Side Note: I'm sitting here at work, and this unpleasant customer just came in. As I was checking her out a car, she mumbles, "You are really engaged?" I looked and just said, "Yes, I am.".. She replied with, "Aren't you too young? How old are you?" I replied, "I'm 23." Then she said, "Oh well maybe not, good for you.." Then she looked down at her finger and then she got all pouty. I had a question to ask on gifts & registries, and ended up looking around on other boards while I waited for an answer.

Did you lurk before posting? Yup. On and off for most of the engagement, so, over a year, but not consistently.

If you're a new poster, what makes you not suck? Well, since my question on gifts & registries revealed that my weird humor doesn't transfer well to the internet, the only thing I have to offer is grammar and the occasional dirty story from the Middle Ages.

The no-kids-at-wedding questions really get on my nerves, but only the "plate-covering ones" make me want to kill.

I'm relatively new, I guess?  I think that asking the same question several times is kind of ridiculous.  Especially the other night when there were literally four questions in a row with the topic of "invitation questions."

Most annoying question asked on E? Can I uninvite someone that I've already sent a STD to?  I'd say "can I kick out a bridesmaid?" but that's one that's asked more often on Wedding Party.

Favorite posters and why? On E?  FutureMrsDudley because she always seems so cheerful.  I like Sucrets' wit.

How did you come to start posting on E?  I don't remember what I first posted about... I've been lurking a long time.  I don't post or comment too often unless I want to know the real, honest, sometimes brutal truth.

Are you a lurker or did you lurk before posting? If you're a lurker, how long, and why don't you post? I lurk still because I don't always have something to say that someone else hasn't said (you guys are quick!).  Plus, my job is my life during the week, so I don't get on here too often.

What do you think of all the new posters? If you're a new poster, what makes you not suck? I don't suck because ::patting self on back:: I like to think I have more common sense than a twig.  And, I know that when I'm asking for advice here, it may not be what I want to hear, but it's probably the right choice.  So I don't cry about it.

Can I kick someone out of the wedding party? If you didn't know they were crazy/bitchy/AW/cheap from the get-to (which you shouldn't have asked them in the first place), you're SOL.
