Can it be evening?

Re: Can it be evening?

  • Yeah willy and Holly, I'm really starting to think it was. The girl is just a bitchh. I typed up this really intricate timeline for her that detailed absolutely everything (and also pointed out how many details were still missing) and she said "Weddings aren't about timelines or food, it's about everyone coming together to the celebrate that we are joined together as one! So just let it flow and let's celebrate and not over engineer" Honey, nooo.
  • Thats awesome, Leisel!

Its $245 per person. Wah wah.

[QUOTE]Pinched nerves are not neuropathic in origin.  The origin of their pain is whatever is the source of the pinching (usually bone -- either collapse or arthritis -- or a disc problem causing physical irritation and inflammation of the nerve).

</div><div>Ah ok, gotcha. I think mine is a disc problem? He said the space between my two vertebrae was smaller than the rest. </div>

  • $245 per person?! holy wow

  • Traditional pain is caused by inflammation.  So if your pinched nerve is causing sharp, shooting pain, the nerve is irritated and inflamed by something.

Neuropathic pain usually feels like burning or tingling or numbness.  Pinched nerves not treated can turn into neuropathic pain, but they usually start out as inflammation pain.

My pain is a burning, consistent tingling usually. :( Very rarely does it actually feel throbbing.

<div>Hubs has gobs of this ... from his TBI and accident. He says things feel almost 'minty fresh' when he is describing the hypersensitivity. And then other spots are numb. So weird. You can almost draw a line down the center of his bod and everything on the left is f'd up; on the right is OK. Crazy!</div>

  • Right, Sara? So freakin' expensive. I think its like an hour long right, but still.

<div>I think it'd be worth it though. A once-in-a-lifetime deal. I'm way more likely to shell out the big bucks for EXPERIENCES as opposed to STUFF, kwim?</div>

  • I just made FI take me to Ulta to get a new bottle of Ruby Pumps and we got Rita's on the way home. I'm a happy camper.

</div><div>I'm the same way. Usually H and I always "do" something together for our birthdays and as Christmas presents because we'd rather spend the money on something like that than on stuff. Then it gets tough to top last year's great experience so we resort back to stuff for a while :)</div>
  • Ah, you ladies were right, working out was a good choice.

I came home and watered my plants. There's a little house overhang thing above the hose and I hit my head super hard. I'm debating calling my H and seeing if he can come home from work. That sounds really co-dependent of me, but I think I hit it really hard.
  • Yeah I totally agree, I love experiences. Its worth it, I just am a poor student right now so the amount is a little scary sounding, haha.

Holly I can only imagine how terrifying it would be for someone afraid of heights. Heights give me a thrill, so I love it. i need to get on some rollercoasters again this summer, I haven't been to the local thrill park in a few summers.

  • Oh no Erin! Do you think you might have a concussion?

</div><div>I don't think so. I've had one before and I think I just have a really big goose egg on my head!

    </div>
  • Glad you liked the workout Erin! But that is scary about your head -- does it feel really bad or do you feel all confused or anything?
    image
  • Erin, did you put some ice on it?
    Cuz OUCH!
    image
  • I suppose you don't have any intention on skydiving then, Holly? haha. Do you have a problem on planes?
    image
  • H is terrified of heights. He freaks out looking over a tall balcony. I, on the other hand, would love to skydive one day.
  • Heights scare the shiiit of me. Even those few seconds that you're up high on a rollercoaster scare me. Forget about the ferris wheel.
    imageWedding Countdown Ticker
  • omg I love the ferris wheel. And I love rocking the carriage a little to get even more of a thrill.

I would hate your guts on a ferris wheel. I'm not a thrill seeker, at all.
    imageWedding Countdown Ticker
  • Oh no Erin, I hope your head feels better.

I love heights but there's only one person who could convince me to go skydiving and he even he would have to work at it. My cousin. H is afraid of heights and won't even go in a hot air balloon. I really want to so sounds like a girls trip to me!
  • Well I was here all of ten seconds...I'm going to grab some dinner with a friend. Have a great night, everyone!
  • Okay, so maybe I don't love heights because y'all just reminded me I hate ferris wheels with a passion. Scare me to death. It's more that I don't feel secure in them.
  • Haha yeah I don't do it unless other people in the carriage are also into it. That would be cruel otherwise. One of my favorite "thrill" feelings was when I climbed 40 ft into a tree overhanging rapids and swung from a rope swing, ala "Tarzan" into the river. God that was awesome.

  • I love rollercoasters and ferris wheels but if you rocked the cart thingy, I might slap you.
    image
  • Musical, you need to come visit me and jump off 'The Rock' into our river. It's about 30 ft up and you just jump right into the water. It's fun.
