STD addressing?

Is it as formal as invite addressing? How to address same sex couples? How to address people who are partnered/engaged? Assuming it would be rude of me to only name the one I am friends with, regardless of the living situation?

The STD will be your guests' first "peek" at your wedding, so I would say that if you are having a formal wedding and will address your invites formally, then address the STDs formally as well.
