Wandering TK, cursing myself for forgetting to bring a lunch. Work is nearly dead right now.

J and I are going to an IZOD Indy car series race Sunday with pit and garage passes and the whole 9 yards - I'm really psyched. Of course, that means no shorts, sleeveless shirts, or open-toed shoes in the hot pit, but we can live with that.

I completely forgot the best pizza ever---Mashed potato from Pizza Luce! It's a MN chain, but I'm sure someone else in the country makes it. They put garlic mashed potatoes on the crust (no sauce), then bacon, brocolli, and tomatoes. I get it without tomatoes, but it is definitely one of my favorite foods. They have another that is called Baked Potato Pizza, which has feta cheese, and some other baked potato toppings. Every one of my friends that I've had try it thinks it delicious. I even got Pizza Ranch to make it for me once

I love the ma and pa pizza places.  They have the best pepperoni.  We get our pizza from a place called Manie's.  It's a greek-like restaurant and they take delivery orders til 4am so it's kind of a huge score.  Great pizza and open late!

They had this calzone place in college that delivered until 4am.  It was SO good.  DP Dough.  man I'd love some right now.

I just finished part of a project, so I'm going to hang out here for a bit for a break .

I love pizza.  My favorite pizza is in New Haven, CT--BAR and Pepe's.  New Haven style pizza is definitely tops for me.  Chicago deep dish is good, but too much--I feel like I have lead in my tummy after a slice!  New Haven style is crispy and light.

I have homemade banana bread with peanut butter for a snack in a little bit, though.  That's almost as good.

I also LOVE the pizza at Mozza in Los Angeles.  Their squash blossoms, tomato & burrata pizza is awesome.

Edit: I also agree that the caramel is a NO GO. We both hated it.

I went into work to do a few things even though it is summer break.  Didn't check theknot yesterday so am catching up today.  I like pepperoni pizza, but have burnt out on it lately.  I am trying to get to 500 posts prior to the wedding!
